Requests For Support
The Rotary Club of Parksville is a member of a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
As a result of ongoing fundraising efforts, the Rotary Club of Parksville is able to consider requests for funding of projects that improve lives, both locally and internationally. Donation requests are considered on a quarterly basis, with submission deadlines as follows: July 15, October 15, January 15, and April 15.
Donations made as of April 15, 2024 were:
- 1st Parksville Scouts – $500 to support the Pacific Jamboree Scout Camp.
- Elder College – $4000 for office equipment and software.
- Forward House – $5500 for renovation projects, including a kitchen appliances upgrade, front entrance safety improvements, and laundry equipment replacement.
