Join us in our mission to support local organizations and create lasting change in our community through dedicated service and fundraising efforts.

The Parksville Rotary Club is committed to improving the lives of individuals and families within our community. Through our weekly Bottle Drop initiative, we raise essential funds that are directed towards various local organizations. Our efforts ensure that these groups have the resources they need to continue their invaluable work. From supporting educational programs to enhancing community services, our mission is to foster a spirit of generosity and service.

Salvation Army

Parksville Rotarians are pleased to support the work of the Salvation Army, including the purchase of much needed appliances for the Soup Kitchen and supplies for the Food Bank.

Bradley Centre

Fostering inclusivity and a more accessible space, promoting a more welcoming environment for all.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Club

Bringing together the joy of food, play, stories and song while exploring food literacy and food security.

Forward House

Mental health programs at Forward House include the preparation of wholesome and affordable options.

A generous donation from the Rotary Club of Parksville recently enabled Forward House Community Society to replace two vintage stoves and an equally aged washer and dryer. This new equipment is fundamental to our ability to serve the needs of our more than 80 clients who face mental health challenges on a daily basis.

Rosemary Bonderud, President, Forward House Community Society

The Saturday Breakfast Club is a free program that brings together the joy of food, play, stories, and song. It is provided on select Saturdays at Munchkinland and operated by the Oceanside Building Learning Together Society in Parksville. The program is designed for children aged birth to eight years of age, along with their parent/caregiver.

Sheila Morrison, District Principal, Early Learning and Childcare, Qualicum School District

Through the remarkable generosity of the Rotary Club, we were able to purchase dry milk for our local food bank, as well as a new freezer and refrigerator for our soup kitchen. These vital resources ensure we can continue to provide fresh, nutritious meals and essential support to the vulnerable individuals and families we serve.

Ihor Reveha, Community Ministries Director, Salvation Army Mount Arrowsmith

We are incredibly grateful to Rotary Parksville for their generous grant, enabling the installation of an automatic door opener at the Bradley Centre. This upgrade has been transformative in enhancing accessibility for our facility.

Araby Gillespie, Manager, The Bradley Centre

When I heard about Rotary’s donation, so many things we had dreamed about became possible. That moment was pure magic. Thank you, Rotary Club of Parksville, for being a champion of changemakers!
